 Heavy Floods Hit Uttarakhand, Thousands Struck

Heavy rains have caused serious floods in Uttarakhand, leaving thousands of people stranded.

Many villages are cut off, and rescue teams are working hard to help those affected.

The floods started after three days of continuous rain. Rivers like the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi

have overflowed, flooding homes, roads, and fields. The Chamoli district is one of the worst-hit

areas, with several villages completely isolated. People are without electricity and running out of

food.In Dehradun, floodwaters have entered low-lying areas, forcing people to leave their homes.

The Rishikesh-Badrinath highway is closed due to landslides, trapping many travelers. The

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the Indian Army are rescuing people and

providing food and shelter.A tragic incident happened in Rudraprayag, where a landslide swept

away a bus with 15 passengers. Rescue teams are searching for survivors, but the situation is

difficult.

In Haridwar, the Ganges River is rising dangerously, and officials are asking people in

flood-prone areas to move to safer places. The Uttarakhand government is asking for more help

from the central government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has promised support. However,

with more rain expected, the situation may get worse before it gets better.

દેહરાદુન, ઉતરાખંડ ,ભારત 

ભારે વરસાદને કારણે ઉત્તરાખંડમાં ગંભીર પુર આવ્યું છે, જેના કારણે હજારો લોકો ફસાયા છે .ઘણા ગામો કટાઈ ગયા છે અને રાહત ટીમો પ્રભાવિત લોકોને મદદ કરવા માટે જોરશોરથી કામ કરી રહી છે.

ભારે પૂર ત્રણ દિવસ સતત ચાલેલા વરસાદ પછી શરૂ થયું. અલખનંદા અને ભાગીરથીના નદીઓ તણાઈ ગઈ છે જેને કારણે ઘર રસ્તા અને ખેતરો પાણીમાં ગરકાવ થઈ ગયા છે. ચમેલી જિલ્લો સૌથી વધુ પ્રભાવિત રસ્તાઓમાં નો એક છે જ્યાં ઘણા ગામો સંપૂર્ણપણે અલગ પડી ગયા છે. લોકો વીજ વિના છે અને ખોરાક પુરવઠો ખૂટી રહ્યો છે દેહરાદુન માં નીચાણવાળા વિસ્તારોમાં પૂરનું પાણી ઘૂસેલું છે જેના કારણે લોકોને પોતપોતાના ઘરો છોડવા મજબૂર થવું પડ્યું રહ્યું છે. ભૂસ્ખલન ને કારણે ઋષિકેશ બદ્રીનાથ હાઈવે બંધ છે જેના કારણે ઘણા મુસાફરો ફસાઈ ગયા છે નેશનલ ડિઝાસ્ટર રિસ્પોન્સ ફોર્મ અને ભારતીય સેના ન ટીમો લોકોને બચાવવાનો અને ખોરાક અને આશરો પૂરું પાડવાનો પ્રયાસ કરી રહી છે. 

રુદ્રપ્રયાગમાં એક દુઃખદ ઘટના બની જ્યાં ભૂસ્ખલનને કારણે 15 મુસાફરોને લઈ જતી એક બસ વહેલી રાત્રે તણાઈ ગઈ. બચાવ કાર્યો ચાલુ છે, પણ સ્થિતિ ખૂબ જ ગંભીર છે. 

હરિદ્વારમાં ગંગા નદીનો જળ સ્થળ ખતરનાક રીતે વધી રહ્યો છે, અને અધિકારીઓએ પૂરગ્રસ્ત વિસ્તારો માં રહેતા લોકોને સુરક્ષિત જગ્યાએ જવા માટે સૂચના આપી છે. ઉતરાખંડ સરકાર કેન્દ્ર સરકાર પાસે વધુ મદદની માંગ કરી છે વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ સહાયતા આપવા વચન આપ્યું છે. તેમ છતાં વધુ વરસાદની શક્યતાઓ સાથે, સ્થિતિ વધુ ખરાબ થવાની સંભાવના છે.
